PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod marker capable of reliably indicating a change in the tip of a fishing rod in actual fishing and drastically improving the visibility of the fishing rod.SOLUTION: A fishing rod marker 42 is mounted on a tip part 41 of a fishing rod 10. The fishing rod marker 42 has a peripheral surface 63, one end face 61 and the other end face 62, and is equipped with a main body 39 made of a condensation acrylic material, and in which light is condensed to the one end face 61 and the other end face 62. In the peripheral surface 63 of the fishing rod marker 42, there is formed a groove part 64 which makes the one end face 61 communicated with the other end face 62, and into which the tip part 41 is inserted in the longitudinal direction. A portion of the groove part 64 is made narrow, and is abutted against the portion when the tip part 41 is inserted into the groove part 64.
