The present invention relates to a surgical robot for performing surgery of the minimally invasive type, comprising an instrument manipulator having a manipulator front end which is provided with an instrument receiver for receiving therein one of a number of surgical instruments, and manipulating means for, at least in use, manipulating the manipulator front end with respect to a patient body. The manipulator front end further comprises a container having a number of container holders for receiving therein the number of surgical instruments, and switching means for switching the instrument present in the instrument receiver by an instrument present in a container holder. The invention further relates to an instrument manipulator, a combination of an operating table and a surgical robot, and a master-slave operating system.La présente invention concerne un robot chirurgical destiné à réaliser une chirurgie de type minimalement invasive, qui comprend un manipulateur d'instrument doté d'une extrémité antérieure de manipulateur pourvue d'un élément de support destiné à accueillir un instrument chirurgical parmi un certain nombre d'instruments chirurgicaux, et des moyens de manipulation destinés, au moins lors de l'utilisation, à permettre la manipulation de l'extrémité antérieure de manipulateur par rapport au corps d'un patient. Ladite extrémité antérieure de manipulateur comprend en outre un récipient doté d'un certain nombre d'éléments de support de récipient destinés à accueillir les instruments chirurgicaux, et des moyens de commutation destinés à remplacer l'instrument présent dans le moyen de support par un instrument présent dans un élément de support de récipient. L'invention porte en outre sur un manipulateur d'instrument, sur une combinaison de table d'opération et de robot chirurgical, et sur un système d'exploitation maître-esclave.
