PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper improved in wearability.SOLUTION: A diaper 1A is provided with: a vertically long absorbent body 2 which has surface layers 21 and 24 arranged on a skin opposite surface side, a leakage preventive layer 22 arranged on a non-skin opposite surface side, and an absorber 23 arranged between the surface layer 21 and the leakage preventive layer 22 and a fastening tape 4 extending outward on both side parts 2S along a Y-direction of the absorbent body 2. The fastening tape 4 is folded bask to the skin opposite surface side of the absorbent body 2 before using the diaper 1A, and in a plane view, a tip 4a of the fastening tape 4 is covered with the side parts 2S along the Y-direction of the absorbent body 2.
