PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vessel normal in sterilization from being re-contaminated by a vessel defective in sterilization.SOLUTION: This device for rejecting a sterilization defective vessel in an electron beam sterilization device includes: a closed-loop circling type vessel transport device 4 for holding and transporting a vessel by a vessel holding device a vessel transfer/supply device 5 for receiving a vessel P transported from the upstream side to be supplied to the vessel holding device of the vessel transport device 4 an electron beam irradiation device 3 for irradiating the vessel transported by the vessel transport device 4 with an electron beam to sterilize the vessel a vessel transfer/discharge device 6 for receiving the sterilized vessel from the vessel holding device to be discharged to the downstream side a sterilization quality detector 3s for detecting the sterilization quality of the vessel irradiated with the electron beam and a rejection device 2 for rejecting the vessel determined to be defective in sterilization by the sterilization quality detector 3s to the outside from the vessel transport device 4. The rejection by the ejection device 2 is performed between a sterilization position E by the electron beam irradiation device 3 on a circling route of the vessel and a discharge/transfer position D by the discharge device 6.
