The present invention relates to a novel nano-and micro-bubbles with functions of carrying hydrophobic drugs, ultrasound-triggered release and magnetic resonance or optical imaging, made of amphiphilic chitosan as bubble-forming material, and hydrophobic superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) or luminous nanoparticles. By using the magnetic resonance or optical imaging to track the location of a drug vehicle, a user can trigger the release of drug by ultrasonication when the drug vehicle arrives at a target site and accumulates to a desirable concentration. As such, the accuracy of drug releasing position and timing can be dramatically improved and thereby reduce side effects of the drug. In addition, the synergistic effect of the amphiphilic chitosan bubble-forming material and sonication may improve the transmembrane delivery of hydrophobic drug into a target cell and enhance the cytotoxicity of anti-cancer drugs.本發明係關於利用雙親性幾丁聚醣作為氣泡形成材料,並搭配疏水性超順磁氧化鐵奈米粒子或具發光性質之奈米粒子,來製備一種新穎「具有可攜載疏水性藥物、能以超音波觸發釋藥、以及利用磁振或光學影像造影等功能的奈米級與微米級氣泡」,其可透過磁振造影或光學影像追蹤藥物載體的位置,待藥物載體到達特定標靶位置並累積至足夠濃度時,再藉由醫用超音波於體外觸發藥物釋出,如此可使釋藥位置與時機的準確度大幅提高,並藉此降低藥物之副作用。而且,此雙親性幾丁聚醣氣泡材料與超音波產生協同效應,可加速疏水性藥物進入細胞,增加抗癌藥物對細胞的毒殺效力。
