PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shellfish takeout device automating a work taking out shellfish from a farming basket, releasing workers from severe labor and accelerating the work taking out shellfish.SOLUTION: A shellfish takeout method and a shellfish takeout device pulls up farming baskets of shellfish in farming continually on board from sea with a pulling up machine, reverses automatically the farming baskets pulled up to make the taking in and out opening side bottom, puts the firming baskets on a circumference surface of a rotational swing body in reversal state and conveys them, and makes the shellfish in the farming baskets drop from the taking in and out opening automatically by swinging the farming baskets with the rotational swing body during conveying.
