The present invention relates to a water supply device having a ball valve for livestock. According to the present invention, the water supply device includes: a feed pipe made of hollow stainless steel pipes and equipped with a moisture sensor inside the pipe； a control device having a controller installed on top of the feed pipe to be connected to the moisture sensor and a ball valve formed to be opened and closed by the controller； and a water cuff installed at the bottom of the feed pipe and formed with a bracket which is fixated onto the end of the feed pipe. The moisture sensor comprises first and second sensors, which detect the contact or non-contact status of water. When water is in non-contact status, the ball valve is opened to transfer water to the feed pipe. According to the present invention, the water supply device with ball valve for livestock, compared to a conventional water supply device which adopts an existing solenoid valve, has a wider diameter. Therefore, even when adding medicines such as powdered or liquid treatments or lactobacillus or effective microorganism (EM) to water for feeding the livestock, the feed pipe is prevented from clogging. Therefore, the provision of necessary treatments to livestock via their water supply becomes easier.본 발명은 볼밸브를 이용한 가축용 급수장치에 관한것으로, 볼밸브가 구비된 가축용 급수장치에 있어서,상기 급수장치는 중공의 스테인레스 파이프로 형성되며 내부에 수분감지센서가 형성되는 급수관；상기 급수관의 상단에 설치되며 상기 수분감지센서와 연결되는 컨트롤러와 상기 컨트롤러에 의해 개폐되도록 형성되는 볼밸브가 형성되는 제어기；상기 급수관의 하단에 설치되며 상기 급수관의 끝단이 고정설치되는 브라켓가 형성되는 워터컵； 을 포함하여 이루어지고, 상기 수분감지센서는 제1감지센서와 제2감지센서로 이루어져 상기 제1감지센서와 상기 제2감지센서가 물의 접촉 또는 비접촉을 인식하여 물이 비접촉이 인식될 경우 상기 볼밸브를 개방하여 상기 급수관으로 물이 이송되도록 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하였다.본 발명의 볼밸브가 구비되는 가축의 급수장치에 의하면, 종래의 솔레노이드밸브를 이용한 급수장치에 비해, 넓은 직경으로 형성되어 가축에게 공급되는 물에 물약 및 가루약 또는 유산균이나 EM균을 첨가하여도 급수관이 막힘이 발생되지 않도록 하여 가축에게 필요한 약품을 용이하게 물에 첨가가능하도록 하는 효과가 있다.
