PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high resolution and high intensity radiation detection device in which a substrate, photoelectric conversion elements, and a scintillator are sequentially arranged from a radiation incidence side.SOLUTION: A radiation detection device includes a scintillator 4, a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements 104, and a substrate 2 having a first surface opposed to the scintillator 4 and a second surface opposed to the first surface. The substrate 2, the photoelectric conversion elements 104, and the scintillator 4 are arranged in this order from the side in which radiation of the radiation detection device is made incident.
