The present invention relates to a food composition for relieving hangovers and, more specifically, to a food composition containing a Pueraria thunbergiana extract, a Trapa bispinosa extract, and a Hovenia dulcis extract for relieving hangovers. The food composition according to the present invention increases activities of alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) to promote alcohol metabolism, thereby lowering the blood alcohol concentration and the acetaldehyde concentration, and thus the food composition of the present invention can be favorably used for reliving hangovers.본 발명은 숙취해소용 식품 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 갈근 추출물, 마름 추출물 및 헛개나무열매 추출물을 포함하는 숙취해소용 식품 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 따른 식품 조성물은 알코올 탈수소효소(ADH) 및 알데하이드 탈수소효소(ALDH)의 활성도를 증가시켜 알코올 대사를 촉진하며, 이에 따라 혈중 알코올 농도 및 아세트알데하이드의 농도를 낮출 수 있는바, 숙취해소 용도로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
