A condensation-crosslinkable dental (especially molding) material containing an alkoxysilyl-functional polyether contains as catalyst a salt formed from (A) a weak organic base with a pKBH + value in water of -1-7； and (B) a strong acid with a pKS value in water below 2. An independent claim is also included for a 2-part material comprising (1) the above polyether； and (2) the above catalyst and water.
