PURPOSE: A rice cake pattern forming method is provided to easily form various characters and patterns on the surface of rice cake, and to improve the producing time of the patterns. CONSTITUTION: A rice cake pattern forming method comprises the following steps: firstly coating the surface of rice cake； flattening the surface of the rice cake； molding patterns on the surface of the rice cake； secondly coating the surface of the rice cake with the patterns； and drying the rice cake. The first coating process is performed by an agar containing coating solution or a chocolate containing coating solution.본 발명은 떡 표면에 문양을 형성하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 떡 표면을 연마하여 평탄화한 후 현대인의 취향에 맞게 떡 표면에 다양하고 세밀하며 다채로운 색상을 갖도록 문양이나 그림을 형성함으로써 섭취자의 취향과 심미감을 향상시켜 떡의 대중화에 기여할 수 있고, 용이한 작업성으로 작업시간을 단축할 수 있고, 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있는 떡 표면의 문양 형성 방법에 관한 것이다.
