PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic which utilizes vegetable lactic acid bacteria included in bamboo and silicic acid, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A cosmetic of the invention includes a bamboo extract extracted from bamboo, or includes 0.1-10% of fine bamboo powders whose average particle diameter is 20 μm-500 μm. A production method of a cosmetic material of the invention comprises: a cutting/pulverizing step (S001) for cutting and pulverizing bamboo pole, for cutting and pulverizing the bamboo pole into fine bamboo powders whose average particle diameter is 20-500 μm and whose moisture percentage is 20-50%； a separation step (S002) for separating moisture from the fine bamboo powder by low temperature vacuum drying, for separating the fine bamboo powder into a bamboo extract and dry bamboo powder. A production method of the cosmetic of the invention comprises a first blending step (S011) for blending by a proper amount, the bamboo extract, water and a cosmetic ingredient for producing a cosmetic, or a second blending step (S021) for blending by a proper amount, the dry bamboo powder, water and the cosmetic ingredient for producing a cosmetic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】竹に多く含まれる植物性乳酸菌とケイ酸を生かした化粧品及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る化粧品は、竹から抽出した竹エキスを含む。又は、平均粒径２０～５００μｍの微細竹粉を０．１～１０％含む。また、本発明に係る化粧品素材の製造方法は、竹棹を切削・粉砕して平均粒径２０～５００μｍ、含水率２０～５０％の微細竹粉に切削・粉砕する切削・粉砕工程（Ｓ００１）と、微細竹粉から低温真空乾燥により水分を分離して、竹エキスと乾燥竹粉とに分離する分離工程（Ｓ００２）とを備える。また、本発明に係る化粧品の製造方法は、竹エキスと水と化粧品配合剤を適当量配合して化粧品を製造する第１の配合工程（Ｓ０１１）を備える。又は、乾燥竹粉と水と化粧品配合剤を適当量配合して化粧品を製造する第２の配合工程（Ｓ０２１）を備える。【選択図】図４
