PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound having a chelate function originated from a natural product, a method for producing the compound, a chelate agent using the compound as an active component, and the application of the chelate agent to food and drink products, cosmetic products, medical drugs and detergents.SOLUTION: Provided are a new cyclotetra-γ-glutaminic acid solid isomer compound Cnidarian 4A and a DDLL solid isomer Cnidarin 4B having a chelate function separately acquired from the nematocyst of a cnidarian.
