PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fat metabolism-improving agent obtained from Sedum sarmentosum of Crassulaceae, a medicine or food for an animal or a human having a fat metabolism-improving effect, and further new megastigman and flavonoid compounds obtained by separating and purifying the extracted components of the S. sarmentosum.
