The present invention refers to a method for preparation of so-called coffee liquor, by cryogenic grinding of roast ground coffee under an inert atmosphere to achive a particle size of 50 to 75 microns, then mixing the coffee with cocoa butter or melted vegetable fat, and then transfering the resulting liquor into moulds ad cooling.The coffee liquor bars can be mixed with other solid ingredients and vegetable fats and/or cocoa butter to form composite, coffee-based solid bars.
