PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Benincasa hispida THUNB. extract is provided to ensure skin whitening with minimized side effect. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for skin whitening contains Benincasa hispida THUNB. extract. A method for preparing the extract comprises: a step of cutting out the flower stalk of Benincasa hispida THUNB. in a circular form； a step of collecting 1/2 number of seeds of Benincasa hispida THUNB. and separately drying the seeds； a step of adding 250-500g of Nelumbo nucifera GAERTN. each 200-400g of Artemisia princeps, purslane, Houttuynia cordata, Broussonetia Kazinoki, and ginseng, each 150-300g of Glycyrrhizae radix and Menthae Herba, and Chrysanthemi Flos, and 100-200g of Chaenomeles sinensis (Thouin) Koehne into the body of Benincasa hispida THUNB.(S1)； a step of adding 250-500g of malt, 150-300g of black sugar, and 2.25-4.5 L of grain wine(S2)； a step of applying dough prepared by mixing germanium and loess in a certain ratio and covering with Hanji(Korean traditional paper)(S3)； a step of heating in a Hwangtobang(room made of loess) at 25-50°；C for 4-8 days(S4)； a step of juicing the Benincasa hispida THUNB.(S5)； a step of pulverizing dried Benincasa hispida THUNB. seeds, each 150-300g of mung beans, silk worm, and pearl powder, 200-400g of bay salt, and 150-300g of boric acid； and a step of mixing 20-40 L of distilled water, 96-98 wt% of prepared mixture, and 2-4 wt% of extract and stirring(S6).본 발명은 주원료의 새로운 소재 개발과 함께 피부 미백 등 피부를 가꾸고, 보호하는데 도움을 주고자 함이며, 피부 등 인체에 미칠 수 있는 부작용을 최소화하여 미리 안전성이 보장되도록 하고, 또한 고유의 천연향기 발산으로 상쾌함을 주려함이며, 배합되는 재료들에 대한 세균의 번식을 억제할 수 있는 동아 추출물을 포함하는 미백용 화장료 조성물 및 그 제조방법 및 이 조성물을 이용한 화장품을 제공하고자 한다.
