PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assisting device capable of realizing downsizing while suppressing that a substance is sandwiched between links.SOLUTION: A walking assisting device 1 of the present invention comprises a linking mechanism comprising a thigh link 11, a crus link 12, a first assistant link 13 and a second assistant link 14. In addition, also provided are first and second assistant link covers 43, 44 which cover the first and second assistant links 13, 14 in a pitch axis direction. The first and second assistant link covers 43, 44 cover at least one part of an opening part 90 surrounded by the thigh link 11, the crus link 12, the first assistant link 13, and the second assistant link 14.
