This invention is to provide a high-voltage electric potential therapy apparatus of which voltage level can be adjusted according to the status of the person under treatment when performing the high-voltage electric potential therapy during sleep so as to increase the therapy efficiency. The high-voltage electric potential therapy apparatus of the invention is equipped with a voltage control means (10) for making the input voltage become a predetermined voltage； a high-voltage potential generating means (19) for using the voltage control means (10) to transform the electric power, which has become the predetermined voltage, into a high-voltage DC or AC power, and then outputting the high-voltage DC or AC power； an outputting means (24) for outputting the high-voltage DC or AC power generated by high-voltage potential generating means (19) to the person under treatment； a micro computer (5) for at least controlling the actions of the above mentioned voltage controlling means (10), high-voltage potential generating means (19), and outputting means (24)； a pulse sensor (14) for detecting the heart beating of the person under treatment and outputting the detected pulse signal.
