PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical potential treatment apparatus capable of applying low-frequency stimulation to a human body with prospective relaxing effects in a simple circuit configuration using an existing converter.SOLUTION: An electrical potential treatment apparatus 1 for applying a treatment by using an electric field has a first electrode T1 opposed to a human body M in non-contact therewith, a second electrode T2 opposed to the first electrode T1 in contact with the human body M, a first transformer 21 for applying a high AC voltage to the first electrode T1 by being connected to a commercial power supply A, a second transformer 22 for applying a high AC voltage to the second electrode T2 by being connected to the commercial power supply A, and a frequency converter 23 for converting a frequency of the commercial power supply A by being arranged in a circuit disposed between the commercial power source A and the first electrode T1 and/or a circuit between the commercial power supply A and the second electrode T2. A difference is set between a frequency F1 of a high AC voltage supplied to the first electrode T1 and a frequency F2 of a high AC voltage applied to the second electrode T2.【課題】 既存の変換器を用い、簡易な回路構成で、低周波数刺激を人体に与えることができ、リラックス効果を期待できる電位治療器を提供する。【解決手段】 電界を利用して治療を行う電位治療装置１に関し、人体Ｍに非接触で対置する第１電極Ｔ１と、該第１の電極Ｔ１に対向し、人体Ｍに接触する第２電極Ｔ２と、商用電源Ａに接続され、第１電極Ｔ１に交流高電圧を印加する第１変圧器２１と、商用電源Ａに接続され、第２電極Ｔ２に交流高電圧を印加する第２変圧器２２と、商用電源Ａと第１電極Ｔ１との間の回路中、及び／又は商用電源Ａと第２電極Ｔ２との間の回路中に設けられ、商用電源Ａの周波数を変換する周波数変換器２３とを、有し、第１電極Ｔ１に印加する交流高電圧の周波数Ｆ１と、第２電極Ｔ２に印加する交流高電圧の周波数Ｆ２とに差を設ける。【選択図】 図１
