The invention relates to an electric press for making small parallelepipedal bales of vegetable materials, to be used especially for animal feed. According to the invention, the press comprises a pressing chamber (1) provided with a limiter (A), mounted on a frame (2), a feed chute (3) having a movable wall (10), a pressing piston (4) provided with a knife (12) and with side guides (13), actuated by means of a connecting rod-crank mechanism (5), by means of an assembled axle (6) by a gear motor (7) controlled from a starter (8), a protection system consisting of two guards (9) fixed in the upper and lower part of the frame (2), a system consisting of traction springs (11) for ensuring the density of the bales and a system (14 ) with a rosette-like member which transmits signals to an inductive sensor (15) connected to a digital counter (16).Invenţia se referă la o presă electrică destinată obţinerii de baloturi din materiale vegetale, cu o formă paralelipipedică, de mici dimensiuni, utilizate în special pentru hrana animalelor. Presa conform invenţiei este compusă dintr-o cameră (1) de presare prevăzută cu un limitator (A), montată pe un cadru (2), un jgheab (3) de alimentare având un perete (10) mobil, un piston (4) de presare prevăzut cu un cuţit (12) şi cu nişte ghidaje (13) laterale, acţionat cu ajutorul unui mecanism (5) bielă-manivelă, prin intermediul unui ax (6) asamblat de către un moto-reductor (7) comandat de la un demaror (8), un sistem de protecţie format din două apărători (9) fixate în partea superioară şi respectiv inferioară a cadrului (2), un sistem format din nişte arcuri (11) de tracţiune pentru asigurarea densităţii baloturilor şi un sistem (14) cu rozetă care transmite semnale la un senzor (15) inductiv conectat la un numărător (16) digital.
