PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve deviation caused in a processing basket in a manner increasing no pumps and facilitating maintenance, in a food processor which houses a processing basket with an open top in a water tank with an open top and which has a driving device for turning the processing basket, with the open top inclined in one direction.SOLUTION: The processing basket has a wall surface which is formed with a mesh in a part. Water freely goes in and out inside and outside of the processing basket 12, with a chute 21 provided on the side edge that is situated low when the processing basket 12 is inclined. In the side wall bottom part of the water tank 13 whose side edge is situated high when the processing basket 12 is inclined, there is installed a current direction part 60 to which a plurality of current plates 65, 75 are attached that direct water flow to the mesh of the processing basket 12. A water delivery device 50 for producing a water flow into the current direction part 60 is installed in the water tank, with a difference-in-level part 36 provided in the bottom of the processing basket 12.
