PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure an endoscope which can be easily equipped with a channel even while reducing a diameter.SOLUTION: An endoscope includes: an imaging optical system M (1, 2) an illumination optical system L (4) a channel 5 and a tube 6 surrounding the imaging optical system, the illumination optical system and the channel. In an intracorporeal insertion part including at least a distal end part, the channel comprises a hollow part surrounded by the inner wall face of the tube, the outer wall face of the imaging optical system, and the outer wall faces of the illumination optical system, and the inner wall face of the channel comprises the inner wall face of the tube, the outer wall face of the imaging optical system, and the outer wall faces of the illumination optical system.
