PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus for changing the setting of a radiation beam to be emitted from a radiation source by only allowing an operator to designate an imaging range in the radiation imaging apparatus for emitting the radiation beam from a diagonal direction in order to set an irradiation field at one end of a radiation detecting means.SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging apparatus 1 obtains the designation range being a part of an FPD 3 from an operation table 18, and determines an angle to rotate an X-ray tube 4, so as to allow the center of the radiation beam to coincide with the center of the designation range.
