PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EP pellet feed in the form of EP pellets polluting no fish culture sea surface by residual bait and undigested feed, having heat resisting properties and shape retention, resistant to mechanical shear force with an extruder, excellent in swelling ability and water absorption ability, unbreakable even if being kept in water for a long time, insoluble in water after baiting action is finished, and capable of being easily physically picked up from underwater. SOLUTION: This feed for fish culture in the form of swollen pellets to be produced using an extruder is characterized by containing legume starch and/or a legume starch processed product. The other objective method for producing the feed for fish culture in the form of swollen pellets using an extruder is characterized by comprising including legume starch and/or a legume starch processed product followed by subjecting the resultant product to an extruder treatment.
