PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid deodorant having high deodorizing performance to textile products.
SOLUTION: Provided are a liquid deodorant having a water-content of 80-99 mass% and a pH of 7.5-9.5 at 25°C, containing a (poly)glyceryl monoether expressed by general formula (I): R-O-(C
3 H6 O2 )n -H (I) in an amount of 0.05-10 mass% and requiring 10-200 ml of 1N NaOH aqueous solution for adjusting 1,000 ml of the liquid deodorant to pH 10 at 25°C and 20-500 ml of N/10 H2 SO4 aqueous solution for adjusting the deodorant to pH 6 at 25°C, a method for deodorizing a textile product by spraying the liquid deodorant to the textile product to be deodorized, and a liquid deodorant product produced by charging the liquid deodorant to a vessel furnished with a manual spraying device.
