PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged beverage suppressed in grassy smell, harsh taste, bitter taste, acidic taste, astringent taste, earthiness and the like of vegetable juice and/or fruit juice.
SOLUTION: The packaged beverage is obtained by a method for suppressing unfavorable flavor of vegetable and/or fruit juice through adding fermented soy milk. The packaged beverage is suppressed in grassy smell, harsh taste, bitter taste, acidic taste, astringency, earthiness and the like, wherein addition of the fermented soy milk in the beverage is 1-15 wt.% and the amount of soybean solid is 0.085-1.275 wt.%.
