The present invention relates to use of a fat-enriched, solid feed combination composition comprising at least a first solid feed composition which is in the form of a pellet comprising one or more fermentable feed ingredients, and a second solid feed composition, wherein the first composition comprises between 20 and 90 wt.% of fat and wherein the second composition comprises one or more fermentable feed ingredients, and wherein the total fat content of the solid feed combination is in the range of 5-20 wt.%, for feeding a ruminant calf.
