PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article improving the quantity of absorption and retention by a high liquid diffusing capability, effectively and more widely using many small absorbing parts in absorbing/retaining repeatedly excreted liquid, and retaining and exhibiting such a body fitting property as to be deformed according to a complicatedly undulating skin surface to abut as a plane on the skin surface without gaps and such a motion following property as to be deformed according to the motion of a wearers body and to keep the abutting state between the skin surface and the plane, advantages of an absorber with a special structure.
SOLUTION: The absorptive article includes a front surface sheet 1 on the skin abutting surface side, a rear surface sheet 7 on the non-skin abutting surface side, and an absorber 10 interposed between the sheets. The absorber is composed of a plurality of segmented small absorbing parts 3 viewed from above. The plurality of small absorbing parts are disposed on a base sheet 2 located on the non-skin abutting surface side. The base sheet has liquid communication parts which connect the plurality of small absorbing parts to one another. The liquid absorbency is higher in the liquid communication parts than in the other parts of the base sheet.
