PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article reconciling high absorption quantity and a high absorbing speed in consideration of the solution peculiar to the absorbent article having a plurality of small separated absorption parts, preventing the lowering of an absorbing speed even in the absorption due to repeated excretion and capable of keeping the human body adaptability being the merit of an absorber having peculiar constitution deformed so as to conform to the complicatedly undulated surface of the skin to come into close contact with the surface of the skin and operation followability keeping a state deformed in conformity to the movement of the body of a wearer to come into contact with the surface of the skin as they are to develop them.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes a surface sheet arranged on the side of a skin contact surface, a back sheet arranged on the side of a skin non-contact surface, and the absorber arranged between both sheets and having a longitudinal direction and the width direction crossing the same at a right angle. The absorber is constituted of a plurality of small absorption parts separated on the plan view looked from the skin contact surface and a stretchable sheet, which is wetted by the contact with a liquid to stretch, is arranged between the absorber and the surface sheet.
