PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-tabletting material comprising a polymer having no internal fracture when blended with a lubricant and compressed in an unlubricated die.SOLUTION: A pre-tabletting material comprises at least one therapeutic agent and at least 30 wt.% of at least one pharmaceutically acceptable polymer. A tablet is formed by compressing the material in a die, in which the compression pressure is at least 10 kN/cm2. An internal surface of the die is lubricated with at least one lubricant. The material does not include any therapeutic agent, or the total amount of one or more lubricants in the material is less than 0.2 wt.% of the material.
