The resent invention relates to an automatic fishing rod moving device having a new structure, capable of moving a fishing rod up and down by automatically rotating the fishing rod in a vertical direction. According to the present invention, the device includes: a body (10)； a rotary shaft (20) extended from a side of the body (10) in a side direction； a holder (30) installed in a side of the rotary shaft (20), and fixing a fishing rod； and a rotating unit (40) connected to the rotary shaft (20) to make the rotary shaft (20) and the holder (30) repeatedly rotated in forward and backward directions. After the fixing rod is fixed to the holder (30), if the rotating unit (40) is operated, the holder (30) and the fixing rod are rotated forwards and backwards and the fixing rod is automatically moved up and down.
