A dynamic distractor (10) is described for distracting an intervertebral space and determining a size of an artificial intervertebral disc to be implanted in the intervertebral space. The distractor comprises two arms with baseplates (13, 15) at their distal ends, a pusher block having a distal portion located between the arms, and a linkage mechanism coupled to the pusher block and the baseplates, wherein movement of the pusher block expands the base plates away from one another.Linvention concerne un distracteur dynamique (10) destiné à distracter lespace intervertébral et à déterminer la taille dun disque intervertébral artificiel qui doit être implanté dans lespace intervertébral.
