The present invention relates in general to a device to assist in the prevention of snoring. The device comprising: a membrane shaped as an elongate oval having opposed sides and opposed arcuate ends, the membrane having a front and a rear face； a hypoallergenic adhesive applied uniformly to the rear face of said membrane, and a backing sheet which covers the adhesive on the back of said membrane； at least one tab formed at one of the arcuate ends of the membrane, such that the at least one tab allows the membrane to be easily manipulated between open and closed positions； and wherein the device is sized and configured to substantially cover a user's closed lips and an area of skin adjacent to each lip to hold the lips in a closed position and therefore provide a good seal of the device to the area around the mouth of the user.La présente invention concerne de manière générale un dispositif pour aider à empêcher un ronflement. Le dispositif comprend : une membrane sous la forme d'un ovale allongé ayant des côtés opposés et des extrémités arquées opposées, la membrane ayant une face avant et une face arrière ； un adhésif hypoallergénique appliqué de façon uniforme sur la face arrière de ladite membrane, et une feuille de revêtement qui recouvre l'adhésif sur l'arrière de ladite membrane ； au moins une languette formée au niveau de l'une des extrémités arquées de la membrane, de telle sorte que ladite languette permet à la membrane d'être facilement manipulée entre des positions ouverte et fermée ； et le dispositif étant dimensionné et configuré pour sensiblement recouvrir les lèvres fermées d'un utilisateur et une région de peau adjacente à chaque lèvre, pour maintenir les lèvres dans une position fermée et conférer ainsi une bonne étanchéité au dispositif sur la région autour de la bouche de l'utilisateur.
