Beverage dispenser 100 comprising:- an inlet connected to a water source 102；- an outlet 164 for dispensing the water to a user vessel；- at least one filter 108, 112 having an input and an output for filtered water；- a mineralization device 128 coupled between the output for filtered water of the filter and the outlet 164 of the beverage dispenser； and- at least one ion exchanger 148 adapted to exchange at least one type ion, wherein the at least one ion exchanger 148 is located downstream of the mineralization device 128 and upstream of the outlet 164.
