A method of improving the taste of an oral composition, comprising the step of: mixing an TRPV1 activator and an unpleasant taste agent selected from the group consisting of: metal salt, peroxide, antimicrobial agent, halitosis agent, surfactants and combinations thereof, to obtain an oral composition. 2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the TRPV1 activator contains vanilla butyl ether, zingeron, capsaicin, capsiate, shoagol, gingerol, piperine, or a combination thereof. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the TRPV1 activator is added in an amount of from about 0.0001% to about 0.1% by weight of the oral composition. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the metal salt contains zinc salt, tin salt (2), potassium salt, copper salt, or a combination thereof. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the TRPV1 activator contains vanilla butyl ether in an amount of from about 0.001% to about 0.025% by weight of the oral composition. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises the step of adding to the composition for caring for the oral cavity an agent that enhances the action of TRPV1, containing damaskon, geranyl butyrate, 2-octanone, furfural, ionon, 2,6-dimethyl-5 -heptenal, tetrasodium pyrophosphate, alpha-dimethylphenethyl acetate, phenylacetaldehyde dimethylacetal, cephalis, linalool oxide, carvyl acetate, farnesene, trans-2-hexenyl acetate, heptyl alcohol or a combination thereof. 7. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the TRPV1 activator contains vanilla butyl ether, and the antimicrobial agent contains cetylpyridinium chloride.
