The present invention relates to an amorphous latanoprost covered with a surfactant and a preparation method thereof. The amorphous latanoprost covered with a surfactant according to an embodiment in the present invention comprises: 100 parts by weight of latanoprost and 10-200 parts by weight of a surfactant with respect to the weight of the latanoprost, wherein the surfactant has two or more alkyl chains adhering to a hydrophilic part thereof. The surfactant adheres to the latanoprost while surrounding the outside of the latanoprost in an amorphous form, so that the latanoprost is dissolved in an emulsion type in water.
