The present invention relates to an amorphous travoprost covered with a surfactant and a preparation method thereof. The amorphous travoprost covered with a surfactant according to an embodiment in the present invention comprises: 100 parts by weight of travoprost and 10-200 parts by weight of a surfactant with respect to the weight of the travoprost, wherein the surfactant has two or more alkyl chains adhering to a hydrophilic part thereof. The surfactant adheres to the travoprost while surrounding the outside of the travoprost in an amorphous form, so that the travoprost is dissolved in an emulsion type in water.
