PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonconventional novel Ume (Japanese plum) processed food product which is reduced in acidic taste and salty taste, to which mild taste is added and the taste of the seasoning is firmly imparted without being influenced by the acidic taste, salty taste, or the like even when using the Ume pickled with salt or soaked in a seasoning liquid as Ume raw material, and which responds to variety of taste.SOLUTION: The Ume processed food product is obtained by adding solid-form Ume to seasoning oil having an oil and fat content of not less than 15%.
