PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the production of a koji fungus having a new character, which cannot be obtained so far, in a steady and systematic manner on the basis of a technique for overlapping an arbitrary genomic region on a chromosome of a fungus belonging to the genus Aspergillus.SOLUTION: The transformant of the fungus belonging to the genus Aspergillus can produce a wide variety of groups of enzymes necessary for the production of soy source, e.g. proteases, at high levels.
