The present invention provides a liquid seasoning, which brings on a sufficient salty taste although it has a low common salt concentration, and which exhibits for example a pharmacological effect such as an antihypertensive effect at a high level. The present invention relates to a liquid seasoning, which contains the following components (A) to (C): (A) 3.55% or less by weight of sodium (B) 0.5% to 4.2% by weight of potassium and (C) 0.1% to 10% by weight of a food material having an antihypertensive effect, wherein the remaining portion of the liquid seasoning excluding component (C) is adapted by incorporation of a substance other than component (C) to have a nitrogen content (D) of 1.6% or more based on the total weight of the liquid seasoning.本發明之目的在於提供一種液體調味料,儘管食鹽濃度低,但可充分感覺到鹽味,可高位準地發揮降低血壓作用等之藥理作用。本發明係關於含有下列成分(A)~(C)之液體調味料:(A)鈉3.55重量%以下;(B)鉀0.5~4.2重量%;(C)具有降低血壓作用之食品素材0.1~10重量%;且成分(C)以外之液體調味料部分中之(D)氮之含量,藉由成分(C)以外之物質為1.6重量%以上者。
