A head stabilising kit is described herein. The kit comprises a supporting cushion having a generally rectangular shape, a length of between about 40cm and about 60cm, and a width of between about 25cm and about 45cm such that it can be folded to mediolaterally cover the head of a person. The supporting cushion is formed by an inner layer of resiliently compressible material having a thickness of between about 2cm and about 12cm and a backing layer of resiliently compressible material having a thickness of between about 0.5cm and about 5cm. The inner layer is provided by a viscoelastic material capable of closely conforming to the contours of the head. The kit includes at least two elongate supporting elements. Each supporting element is shaped to be insertable, in use, between the supporting cushion and a surface of a medical imaging device.La présente invention concerne un kit stabilisateur de tête. Le kit comporte un coussin de soutien présentant une forme générale rectangulaire, une longueur comprise entre environ 40 cm et environ 60 cm, et une largeur comprise entre environ 25 cm et environ 45 cm de telle façon quil puisse être plié pour recouvrir de manière intermédio-latérale la tête dune personne. Le coussin de soutien est formé dune couche intérieure en matériau élastiquement compressible présentant une épaisseur comprise entre environ 2 cm et environ 12 cm, et dune couche de doublure en matériau élastiquement compressible présentant une épaisseur comprise entre environ 0,5 cm et environ 5 cm. La couche intérieure est constituée dun matériau viscoélastique capable dépouser de près les contours de la tête. Le kit comprend au moins deux éléments de soutien allongés. Chaque élément de soutien présente une forme lui permettant dêtre inséré, en cours dutilisation, entre le coussin de soutien et une surface dun dispositif dimagerie médicale.
