The pad has a dried and compressed fiber cushion based on coco peat and/or coir with a water content of maximum 20 wt. %, an area in a range from 100 to 1000 square cm, a thickness of lesser than 1 cm in a compressed state, and a thickness increased to three times after water addition and expansion. Turf seeds are inserted in the fiber cushion or applied on the fiber cushion. Fertilizer granules are inserted in the fiber cushion or applied on the fiber cushion. A length of the fiber cushion is about one to three times of a breadth of the cushion. The granules contain isobutylidene di urea. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a turf pad.
