The invention relates to an assembly formed by: a self-ligating attachment (1) having a groove (2) for receiving an orthodontic arch an elastic clip (6) that can be reversibly moved between an open position and a closed position sealing the groove (2) and a base (3) having an external surface (5) and an occlusal surface (4), said external surface (5) of the base (3) supporting the attachment (1) and said occlusal surface (4) of the base (3) being intended to rest on one of the patients teeth. The aforementioned clip (6) can be moved in an at least partially rotational manner between the open position and the closed position. Moreover, the area of the above-mentioned base (3) that supports the attachment (1) comprises a depression (9) at least partially in the form of a cup and the clip (6) is inserted into the depression (9) when in the closed position.Ensemble formé par : - une attache auto-ligaturante (1) présentant une gorge (2) pour la réception dun arc orthodontique - un clip élastique (6) déplaçable de manière réversible entre une position ouverte une position fermée obturant la gorge (2) - et une base (3) présentant une face externe (5) et une face occlusale (4), ladite face externe (5) de la base (3) supportant ladite attache (1) et ladite face occlusale (4) de la base (3) étant destinée à reposer sur une dent du patient ledit clip (6) étant déplaçable selon un mouvement au moins partiellement rotatif entre sa position ouverte et sa position fermée, et en ce que ladite base (3) comporte dans la zone où elle supporte lattache (1) une dépression (9) au moins partiellement en forme de cuvette, le clip (6) venant sinsérer dans ladite dépression (9) lorsquil est en position fermée.
