PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dietary supplement having carcinogenesis-inhibiting effect and produced by adding ultrafine lotus root powder and ultrafine kale powder to fine bamboo powder to make a mixture, and forming the mixture into powder, capsules, granules or tablets.SOLUTION: The dietary supplement is produced as a health supplement to be orally ingested, is made of bamboo material such as thick-stemmed bamboo, Japanese bamboo or dwarf bamboo, and is produced by: adding the ultrafine lotus root powder 2S produced by making lotus root into unicellular one, and the fine kale powder 3S to powder 1S produced by pulverizing the bamboo material into 10-200 μm fine powder using fibrillated bamboo fiber chopped strands obtained by dissociating cellulose and hemicellulose forming cellular walls from lignin to make them a mixture and forming the mixture into granules.
