A rehabilitation device is for monitoring hand positions of a user. It comprises two camera modules which experience different occlusion of finger joints. If finger joints are occluded in the image from one of the camera modules, the location obtained from the image from the other one is used. If finger joints are not occluded in either of the images a location may for example be obtained from the images from both of the camera modules.
