To provide a solid milk having suitable solubility and high hardness, and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: In the invention, a powder X-ray diffraction device is used to analyze an X-ray diffraction pattern of a surface 12 of solid milk and determine the solubility and hardness of the solid milk.
