PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can efficiently exhibit an improvement effect of absorption performance by a hemagglutination agent, which has a large absorption amount, and excellent in leakage prevention property.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 for absorbing menstrual blood comprises: a liquid permeable surface sheet 2 a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 3 and an absorber 4 arranged between both sheets, and has a vertical direction X and a lateral direction Y. The absorber 4 has, on each of both sides of a center line CL of the absorbent article 1 extending in the vertical direction X, a first high density part 81 extending in the vertical direction, a hemagglutination agent is arranged on the absorber 4 on a region D between the first high density parts, and a second high density part 86 is formed on a region D between the first high density parts.
