PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which absorption performance and permeability of menstrual blood are hardly deteriorated, even when repeatedly absorbing menstrual blood.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises an absorbent core and a liquid permeable sheet containing a hemagglutination agent. The sheet contains a relatively large amount of the hemagglutination agent on one surface side, relative to on the other surface side.
