PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for producing an aqueous solution of hypochlorous acid without using an acid and without substantially generating chlorine gas.SOLUTION: There are provided a production method of hypochlorous acid including a step for processing a hypochlorite solution with a silica gel, and a production apparatus of the hypochlorous acid having the silica gel.
