PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a frozen tea gruel maintaining the flavor and color characteristic of tea, excellent in texture and taste and easily capable of thawing it with an electronic oven.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a frozen tea gruel including: a cooling step of rapidly cooling a white gruel boiled by the conventional method with a gruel soup to 25°C or lower a mixing step of adding components originated from tea to the white gruel after the cooling and mixing them and a rapid freezing step of rapidly freezing the gruel obtained by mixing the white gruel and the components derived from tea to -40°C or lower within 20 min.
